Exploring the potential of electromagnetic fields
to influence biological systems. A new perspective
on biomedical science and microbial vitality.
What if a physical field could become a new way to investigate living systems?
AXIOM is exploring electromagnetic-field research at the intersection of engineering and biology—with a focus on potential biomedical applications and the modulation of microorganisms’ vitality.
Our ambition starts with a question, not an assumption: can defined exposures produce measurable, reproducible and useful biological responses?
How we turn questions into evidence ↗Measure the field.
Understand the response.
Let the evidence lead.
Different biological systems.
Distinct endpoints. Independent evidence.
Investigating how characterized electromagnetic exposures interact with biological models, and what those interactions might mean for future biomedical research.
Can a reproducible biological response be distinguished from heating, measurement variability and other confounding factors?
These are proposed research directions. AXIOM-specific clinical efficacy and microbial-control performance have not been established.
Watch electromagnetic waves move through a cell-inspired form. Its membrane ripples and its nucleus glows in a synchronized visual response.
Conceptual animation only. The cell response is artistic, not a measured or predicted biological effect.
Progress is earned through validation.
Each stage informs the decision to continue.
Review the evidence. Refine the hypothesis. Characterize the field and the biological context.
Design controlled feasibility studies with qualified partners, appropriate controls and predefined endpoints.
Challenge promising findings across independent repeats and seek confirmation beyond one laboratory.
Only then, assess a specific application’s practical value, safety requirements and regulatory pathway.
A proposed pathway, not a record of completed milestones. Null results and unexpected responses are part of discovery.
Possible application horizons, contingent on reproducible evidence and independent safety evaluation.
Studying biological responses and selectivity to inform future translational research.
Investigating changes in growth, viability and biofilm behavior in suitable model systems.
Exploring contamination and biofilm-management questions in controlled settings.
Exploring standardized exposure systems and methods that make research more reproducible.
For researchers, laboratories and engineering partners
ready to explore the field–biology interface.
The initiative is at the research-concept and proposed-validation stage. The materials supporting it do not establish independently validated AXIOM-specific microbial-control or clinical efficacy results.
No treatment or proven antimicrobial product is being offered through this website. Biomedical applications are research ambitions requiring their own evidence, safety evaluation and relevant regulatory review.
It describes investigating whether defined exposure conditions change biological endpoints such as growth or viability. An outcome could be inhibitory, stimulatory or neutral. For viruses, the relevant questions concern infectivity and replication in suitable host systems.
No universal frequency is assumed. Field modality, waveform, amplitude, duration, geometry and biological context must be considered together. Evidence for one exposure modality does not automatically validate another.
